DEFINITIONS
These headaches occur during or after continuous heavy exercise. The most common activity associated with these headaches are running, playing tennis, swimming and weightlifting.
Doctors insert these headaches into two categories. The first headache is usually painful, is not related to other fundamental problems and often can be prevented by medical treatment. The second, main problem is caused by other, often serious problem and is associated with the brain - such as bleeding or a tumor - or things outside the brain - such as coronary artery disease. For this second category of headache requiring emergency medical attention.

Headaches due to sport the second category
This category of headaches are caused by fundamental problems, such as:
• Bleeding in the area between the brain and the thin membrane that covers the head (subarachnoid hemorrhage)
• Abnormalities of blood vessels into or within the brain
• Tumors that are cancerous or not cancerous
• Reducing the flow of blood that flows in the arteries leading to heart
• Sinus Infection
Risk Factors
You may be at great risk if you:
• Exercise in hot weather
• Exercise at altitude
• Having a migraine on themselves or on family
Headaches due to sport the first category often occur in young children at the age of 20s. People with the second category tended to be older - the average at age 42.
Prevention
Sports headaches tend to occur more frequently when the weather is hot and humid, or if you exercise constantly. If you tend to get headaches, you can avoid to sport in these conditions.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a food additive or a flavor enhancer found in soy sauce, meat tenderizer and a lot of packaging foods. Headache caused by MSG may occur within 20 to 30 minutes after consumption and can cause symptoms such as chest pressure, dizziness, headache in the front or side of the head, stomach discomfort or burning sensation in the neck, chest or shoulders.
Known as the Chinese restaurant syndrome. They are called this because Chinese restaurants use a lot of flavor, aka mono sodium glutamate (MSG). Effect of MSG or MSG will be felt after 30 minutes we consume.
For those who really can not stand, as a result not only in the head. Face can be flushed, burning sensation in the chest, neck and shoulders, and nausea. The headache will disappeared completely after 72 hours.

DEFINITION
This headache occurs in conjunction with sexual activity (especially during orgasm). You may experience some pain in the head and neck that occur when sexual arousal increases. Or, more generally, you experience sudden, severe head pain just before or during orgasm.
Most headache don't have to worry about intimate relationships. But in some cases, could be something serious, such as problems with blood vessels that drain blood to the brain.
SYMPTOMS
There are two types of headache because of sex. Symptoms typically are:
• There is no warning and occurred only a few seconds during orgasm
• Often portrayed with a sense of throbbing or stabbing
Another variation of the headaches because intimate relationships are:
• Often begins with mild pain on both sides of the head
• Causes of tightening on the neck and jaw muscles
• There was a gradual every minute before orgasm
• Intensity increases with the increase of sexual stimulation
A lot of headache because of the intimate relationship ended in 30 minutes. Or maybe it could survive in a few hours. Many people who have these headaches will experience it is coupled in recent months, and then go for a year or more without this headache.
CAUSES, RISK FACTORS, AND PREVENTION
Causes
Many types of sexual activity that causes an orgasm (such as masturbation, oral sex or intercourse) can trigger a headache because of sex.
- Slow to build sex headaches

• Response to increased blood pressure and heart rate during orgasm
• Bleeding in or around the brain (subarachnoid hemorrhage)
Other cases associated with headaches because of the intimate relationship included:
• Bleeding in the wall (dissection) arteries.
• Stroke
• Use some medicines, such as birth control pills
• Sinus Infection
• coronary artery disease
• pheochromocytoma
• Glaucoma
Risk Factors
These headaches can occur in every person. But this headache risk factors include:

Spinal headache usually occurred in more than 30 percent in those who underwent spinal or lumbar puncture tab (lumbar puncture) or spinal anesthesia. Both of these procedures require a puncture that penetrates the membrane that surrounds the spinal cord (spinal cord) and, at the bottom of the spine, hips and sacral nerve roots.
In the spinal tap or spinal puncture, cerebrospinal fluid samples from taken from the spinal cavity. In spinal anesthesia, drugs are inserted into the cavity of the spine to numb the lower body your nerves. If a spinal fluid leak that pierces the puncture, you may be exposed spinal headache.
Many of spinal headaches (also known as post lumbar puncture headache) is complete by itself without treatment. However, spinal headache for 24 hours or more may need maintenance.
SYMPTOMS
Spinal headache symptoms as follows:
• The pain has a variety of intensity from mild to crippling
• The pain has typically will worsen when you sit or stand and will be reduced or loss when you lie down

CAUSES AND RISK FACTORS
Causes
Spinal headache caused by leakage of spinal fluid that penetrates the puncture holes in the membrane that surrounds the spinal cord. This leakage reduces the pressure exerted by the spinal fluid on the brain and spinal cord, causing headaches.
Spinal headache usually appears at 12 to 24 hours after a spinal tap or spinal anesthesia. Sometimes epidural anesthesia can cause a spinal headache. Although epidural anesthesia is injected just outside the membrane that surrounds the spinal cord, spinal headache may occur if the membrane was not accidentally punctured.
Risk FactorsRisk factors for spinal headaches, among others:
• Women
• Having a personal note with headaches in general
• Aged between 20 and 40
• Undergoing procedures involving the use of needles or puncture the membrane that surrounds the spinal cord.

Headache that is medically known as cephalalgia or pronounced cephalgia is a condition in the presence of pain in the head (sometimes pain in the back of the neck or upper back, also known as a headache) These diseases included in the complaints that the disease is often expressed.
One type of headache that also many complaints are headaches or migraines. Migraine headache attacks seemed more tortured and sometimes came suddenly. Migraine sufferer will feel pain and throbbing like a beaten and pulled and is usually accompanied by gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea and vomiting. Sufferers also tend to be more sensitive to light, sounds and smells. This is certainly very disturbing and can inhibit all activities of the patient.
The word of migraine comes from the Greek, that is hemicrania (hemi = half, Cranium = skull). Migraine headache attacks can occur several times a year to several times a week, with attacks usually 1-2 hours. Or migraine headaches actually have not known for certain causes. However, the expected type of headache is caused by the hyperactivity of the brain electrical impulses that increase blood flow in the brain resulting in brain blood vessel dilation and inflammation (wound inflammation).
In general terms, the headache is a pain that occurs in the head. According to the terminology of anatomy - physiology, headache is the pain caused by nerve fibers stimulate with sensitive to pain, called nosiseptor, which spread across the scalp, face and on the surface and the inside of the brain. 90% of cases occurring headaches caused by stress and tension.
Most cases are easily diagnosed with a headache, because it generally has the typical symptoms and establish a clear pattern. However, if the standard treatment of headache can not be resolved, then the patient should be referred to a specialist

Headache is a health problem (diseases) which most often occurs by people. Some people often have headache, while others almost never feel the headache.
Chronic headaches and recurrent headaches can feel very painful and annoying, but rarely reflect a serious health condition. A change in headache pattern or source (example: from rare to frequent, before is light and now is heavy) could be a sign of serious and requires immediate medical action.
Most headache are muscle tension, migraine or headache without obvious cause. A lot of headaches associated with abnormalities in the eyes, nose, throat, teeth and ears. High blood pressure can cause a pulsating feeling in the head, but high blood pressure rarely causes chronic headaches.
Many people usually talk to the doctor who can determine the cause of headache patients medical history and physical examination. Sometimes take blood tests to determine the causes of headache. A lumbar puncture (taking a small amount of fluid from the spinal column to be examined under a microscope) is done if the suspected cause is an infection (example: meningitis).
Only a small proportion of headache caused by brain tumor, brain injury or loss of oxygen to the brain. If suspected a tumor, stroke or other brain disorders, then performed a CT scan or MRI.

Sinus headache is headache that occur along with inflammation of the mucous membrane disease, a condition where the lining of the mucous membrane becomes swollen and inflamed. You will experience the pressure around the eyes, cheeks and head of the front.
Your head would throb. While this may be indicated sinus headache, do not be hasty in making conclusions. Many people assume they have sinus headaches but they actually have migraines or headache due to tension.
SYMPTOMS
Sinus headache have signs and symptoms as follows:
• Pain and a sense of pressure on the cheeks, eyebrows or head of the front.
• Pain that worsens when bending or lying down.
• Exit the green-yellow phlegm or blood-colored
• sore throat
• Fever
• Coughing

Sinus headache or migraine?
It is important to note that it will probably get confused to differentiate between migraine and sinus headaches. Research shows that 90 percent of those with sinus headaches actually had migraines
Just like a sinus headache, pain in migraine seirng worse when you bend forward, and migraines can be accompanied by several signs and symptoms in the nose - including heavy breathing, pressure on the face, and discharge of mucus in the nose.
Sinus headaches are however not related to feelings of nausea or vomiting, or make sense of irritation in the nose or rays of light - a common symptom in migraine.
CAUSES, RISK FACTORS, AND PREVENTION
Cause
Sinus headache are accompanied by sinusitis (inflammation of the mucous membrane), a condition in which a layer of mucos membranes become swollen and inflamed. Inflammation of the mucous membrane can be caused by colds, bacterial or fungal infections, disorders of the immune system or structural problems in the sinus cavity hidung.Hasilnya pressure can trigger a headache.
Risk Factors
Sinusitis can strike anyone. You may be more likely to be exposed if you have:
• Asthma
• Polyps
• Allergy to dust or pollen
• Have a weak immune system
• Conditions that result in road mucus in the respiratory system, such as cystic fibrosis
• Exposure to cigarette smoke

Prevention
To reduce the risk of sinusitis, keep your mucous membranes healthy.
• Frequent hand washing. Soap and water can help you avoid upper respiratory infections that can mengifeksi you and cause sinusitis.
• Avoid things that interfere. Avoid cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco. That's all, and other air pollutants can cause your sinus membranes to swell.
• Use a humidifier. Adding a humidifier in a dry indoor air can help prevent sinusitis - but not too excessive. High humidity can trigger the growth of fungi and small creatures your home. Make sure the humidifier is clean and guard remained free from mildew.

If we think about the headaches, we must grow up thinking that people who suffer from frequent headaches. However, a survey provides startling facts, it turns on the child's headache, headache also occur frequently in adults. Startling facts were found after 30% of children surveyed was experiencing headaches. Unfortunately no one knows what causes these headache in children.
Apparently there are many reasons why a child may develop a headache. One thing to consider is family health history. Usually the disease found in previous generations relegated to the next generation and beyond. So there is the possibility of a child stricken with a headache due to heredity factors. This is especially true in young women because the majority of people who suffer from headaches are women.
Other reasons headache in children are due to injury in the head. If a child has suffered injury, you should take the child to the pediatrician for a consultation. This is very important that children get appropriate treatment. Often ignores treatment or consult a doctor after the child suffered a head injury makes the child's headache worse.
In addition to hereditary factors and injury, headache in children can also be caused by the environment and allergies. Sometimes change can cause headaches neighborhood. These changes can include changes in weather, light, smell, dehydration, sleep deprivation, and the sound is too loud. The stress of school work or family problems can also be a reason for headache in children. Spend time with children to discuss the problems that it faces everyday.
Sometimes children feel tense with trivial things that can be solved by discussion. Make sure your child does not have food allergies because it can cause headaches. This can be caused if there is taste in foods such as MSG and caffeine found in chocolate and soft drinks.

Headaches due to cough is a type of unusual headache triggered by coughing or other types of stress (such as sneezing, laughing, crying, singing, and others).
Doctors divide cough headaches into two categories. The first is the primary category are usually harmless, occur in a short time and eventually heal by itself. The second category is more serious, namely the secondary category, which is caused by structural problems in the brain, requiring surgery to fix it.
SYMPTOMS
Headaches due to cough primary category
• It started suddenly with or after coughing or other tensions.
• Occur in a few seconds or minutes (a few may end up more than 30 minutes).
• Have a sharp pain, like stabbing or tearing.
• Usually the attack on the two sides of the head and usually occurs on the back of the head.
Headaches due to cough secondary category
Headache this category often have the same symptoms with the primary category, but this category can occur more than a minute, can be up to several days.
CAUSES, RISK FACTORS & PREVENTION
Causes
- Headaches due to cough primary category
Causes of primary categories of headache is unknown, some scientists thought that the cause is the increased pressure inside the head (intracranial pressure) caused by coughing and other tensions that play a role.
- Headaches due to cough secondary category
Causes of secondary headache category is almost always derived from the brain or in the back of the skull base, where the brain and spinal related, such as:
• Damage to the skeleton
•Damage to the structure of the cerebellum. Some types of damage are called Chiari malformation.
• Brain tumors
Risk factors
Headaches due to cough primary category
• Aged 40 years and over
• Men
Headaches due to cough secondary category
• Aged under 40 years
Prevention
Prevent trigger cough headaches can reduce the amount of your headache. Some precautions are:
• Experiencing lung infections, like bronchitis
• Use a cough suppressant that is required
• Taking an annual flu vaccination
• Use a soft stool to avoid constipation
• Reduce heavy lifting

Ice cream headache occurs in a short time, It's commonly appears about 10 until 20 seconds although some people experince much longer lapses of pain, with the pain seeming to relate to the same side of the head as the cold substance was applied to the palate, or to both sides of the head in the case of swallowing.
Ice cream headache attacking the head when you eat or drink something cold. Ice pops, frozen liquid beverage, ice cream and other foods and beverages that give the effect of "brain freeze". Ice cream headache also known as brain freeze or cold-stimulus headache.
SYMPTOMS
Ice cream headache symptoms are:
• Sharp, stabbing pain in the front of heads
• The peak of the pain occurs about 10-20 seconds
• The pain is rarely longer than 5 minutes
CAUSES, RISK FACTORS & PREVENTION
Causes
Ice cream headache caused by cold material that moves from the rear roof of mouth to the back of throat, which occurs when you eat ice cream quickly, or sip a cold drink. Scientists still are not sure about the exact mechanism causing the pain.
One theory suggests that the cold food or drinks when ingested alter blood flow in the brain for a while. Some scientists suspect that the pain caused by mouth-to-head via the trigeminal nerve, which deliver the sensor information from the head and mouth to the head.
Risk Factors
Ice cream headache can have an effect on everyone. But it may be more vulnerable to happen if you have a tendency to migraine. Ice cream headache was also more common in people who have headaches.
Prevention
To help prevent ice cream headaches, eating cold food and drink slowly. The only way to avoid ice cream headache is to avoid cold foods or beverages that cause ice cream headaches.

In some cases, headaches in children are caused by infection, high levels of stress or anxiety, or mild trauma to the head. That is why it is important to pay attention to symptoms of headache in children and to consult your doctor if the headache gets worse or frequent. Headache in children can usually be caused by medication without a prescription and other lifestyle and what is done at home.
SYMPTOMS
Children have the same type of headaches as adults, although the symptoms may be different. For example, migraine in adults always affects only one part of the head, in children are often located on both sides of the head. Migraine in children is also not the case for long.
- Migraine
Migain can cause:
• Pain in the head
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Upset stomach
• extreme sensitivity to light and sound
Even a baby to experience migraines. Children who are too small to tell you what went wrong and make crying and holding her head to indicate severe pain. Migraine in children can be lost in 1 hour or more.
- Headache due to tension
Often associated with stress, headaches due to tension and pressing tightly on both sides of the head. Can be lost in 30 minutes or until a few days.
- Daily Chronic Headache
Both types of headache had to start happening more frequency. If your child has more than 15 headache days a month for more than three months, doctors call "daily chronic headache." This problem can occur when your child uses painkillers (a variety of drugs without a prescription) is too often
- Cluster Headache
This is the latest headache is common in children. Usually disabling and bring a sharp pain and attack on one side of the head that can be lost within three hours.
CAUSES & RISK FACTORS
Cause
Several factors, one or a combination, can make your child prone to headaches. Among others:
• Genetic trend. Headaches, especially migraines tend to decline in the family. If you have a family history of migraines, your child will have a high risk of experiencing as well.
• Trauma to the head. Conflict and bruises on the head can cause headaches. Although many head injuries are minor things, seek medical help immediately if your child fell violently on the head. Also contact your doctor if your child continues to have a bad headache after head injury.
• Pain and infection. Headache is a common symptom common in many pain in children. Ear infections, sinus infections, colds and flu are often accompanied by headache.
• Environmental factors. Environmental conditions including weather changes, can cause headaches.
• Emotional factors. High levels of stress and anxiety (often triggered by problems with friends, teachers, or parents) can play a role in a lot of headaches in children. Children with depression may complain to the headache, especially if they have problems in regulating their feelings of sadness and loneliness.
• Food and beverage specific. Additives in foods monosodium glutamate (MSG), found in many foods such as bacon, bologna and hot dogs, which are known to trigger headaches. Also caffeine, the soda, chocolate, coffee and tea may cause headaches.
Risk Factors
All children can experience headaches, but usually happen in:
• Children above 10 years of age
• Men before their puberty
• Women after their puberty
• Children in families who have a history of headache and migraine
